Opportunity: Just two months after announcing that Nicole Ostoya was joining the company as its first CMO (more here), EVINE Live has tapped Alison Brod Public Relations as PR and influencer AOR. In this role, ABPR will work with the EVINE team to create PR and marketing campaigns designed to raise awareness for all of the company’s brands across all categories. This appointment comes as EVINE continues to target a larger audience across TV, online and mobile channels.
In March, Interim CEO Bob Rosenblatt said the company was looking to make “the right investments” in marketing and customer acquisition. He also said the company is aware of the importance of utilizing marketing as an important component in strategy and, as such, is an area of focus for 2016. EVINE Live will also become “more aggressive” with CRM and develop enterprising customer acquisition marketing strategies and campaigns to maximize retention. All of these efforts will be part of an expanded overall brand awareness campaign.
