Southwest Securities names marketing exec
Financial services provider Southwest Securities named Maryrose Dombrowski to oversee marketing in its Clearing Services division, according to the company
Dombrowski brings to Southwest Securities 25 years of experience in financial services. Most recently, she was director of marketing for Broadcort, a division of Merrill Lynch.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, she was at ABM AMBRO, leading and developing cross-marketing strategies for a range of services in the equities, options, futures and foreign exchange markets.
Dallas-based Southwest Securities is part of SWS Group Inc., a holding company that provides a range of investment and financial services. Southwest Security’s Clearing Services segment provides client account processing, clearing, trade execution and other services for global businesses.
Dombrowski will be the senior-most marketing executive at Southwest Securities’ Clearing Services sector.
“Maryrose’s knowledge of our business and her expertise in marketing, sales and relationship management will help us to drive our growth efforts,” Timothy Hamick, executive vice president and head of Clearing Services, said in a statement.
Her appointment comes in conjunction with additional hires in Southwest Securities’ Clearing Services division.
In an effort to reach more clients, the division added four new sales representatives. Michael Dunne, Dan Nordvedt and John Duffy will develop new correspondent relationships for the company, while Charles Byron will work with existing correspondents to recruit new reps, expand products and services offered and develop training programs.
A company spokesperson told WinmoEdge that a good deal of Southwest Securities’ advertising work is created in-house, but the company also works with outside vendors on occasion, including Dallas-based Slingshot LLC. Our source could not go into further detail on Dombrowski’s marketing or agency plans as she was unavailable.
We suggest agencies with B-to-B experience in the financial sector get in touch with Dombrowski and start building a dialogue.
