TV Opps: Sanderson Farms budget skyrockets behind TV campaign

Opportunity: Sanderson will maintain higher advertising spending levels if its new TV ad campaign meets ROI expectations. Mike Cockrell, CFO and treasurer, said in the Q4 earnings call that Sanderson spent $7.8 million on advertising during fiscal 2014 ended Oct. 31, way up from only $1 million in FY 2013. Therefore, readers who can assist with Sanderson’s continued efforts to generate higher awareness and loyalty of its natural chicken against much larger rivals (Tyson and Pilgrim’s) should reach out.
