Organization: Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), the private nonprofit organization tasked with promoting the city

Opportunity:  Andrew Wilson to EVP and chief marketing officer to lead all of ACVB’s online and offline marketing efforts. He’s been with ACVB since 2009,  most recently as SVP and general manager of Atlanta.net

Key to Know: According to ACVB’s 2014-2017 Marketing Plan, the organization’s strategic priorities include attracting more mid-size to large meetings; enhancing destination appeal with both the leisure and meetings markets; and staying head of industry and consumer technology trends, such as social media, experience marketing and multi-screen access.
