Entrepreneur Media gets new Director, Biz Dev
Entrepreneur Media Inc. announced the appointment of Charles Muselli as its new director of business development, according to the company
Muselli comes to Entrepreneur Media from consulting roles in business development and finance focused on growing, privately held companies.
Before that, he was with Sony Connect as a senior business development manager and Paramount Pictures as a manager. He will start his new position at the Irvine, Calif.-based company on June 16.
Entrepreneur Media Inc. is a leading content provider for and about entrepreneurs. The company’s products include Entrepreneur magazine as well as several books aimed to engage and inspire its audience with advice, solutions and resources for entrepreneurs.
In Muselli’s new role at Entrepreneur Media
, he will focus on creating business partnerships with other leading media companies.
He will also assist with the company’s growth strategy by acquiring and implementing new revenue-generating content and brand-building opportunities.
“With Charles on board we are in the perfect position to catapult these properties from every angle, including audience traffic, content and advertiser demand,” Vice President and Corporate Publisher Ryan Shea said in a statement. “…his experience in developing synergistic partnerships and his innovative ideas for using technology to increase operational efficiency are the perfect storm.”
Muselli will also negotiate agreements regarding content, channels, technology, infrastructure, resources and will create partnerships for all online properties, including Entrepreneur.com.

According to The List database, Entrepreneur Media does not currently have any agency relationships.
Nielsen Monitor-Plus reported that the company spent about $14.2 million on Internet advertising in 2007.
Because Muselli will be actively pursuing strategic partnerships with other media outlets, agencies with experience in publishing or online content may find multiple opportunities with Entrepreneur Media.
