Keep in mind that VA has slightly decreased display activity from 2014 and 2015 and, according to LinkedIn’s job listing late last year.

New Product Launch: On top of its existing business travel options, VA recently announced that it would be expanding “leisure flying” by adding three extra services by late July 2016. The services will be three weekly flights from Gatwick, West Sussex, UK, to Orlando. Fla. 

Media Spend: Kantar Media reports that VA spent $9.4 million on measured media in 2014. Most of VA’s send is allocated to digital display ads (52.7%), while the remainder is dedicated to OOH (36.39%) and magazines (8.4%). 

Digital Breakdown: According to Moat, VA ran 53 display ads on 1,302 publishers in 2015 (<1% mobile). Top ad destinations included,, and (57% of these were placed site direct versus programmatic). VA also ran 27 high impact ads and three video ads in 2015. For 2014, 88 display ads and 86 high impact ads were run on 1,420 publishers (<1% mobile; 67% placed site direct).
