Smuckers consolidated media for Big Heart Pet Brands with long-time media AOR Grey has handled the creative account since 2002 - well past average agency tenure (2.5-3 years). For this reason, Smuckers will remain on our VAI for the time being.

Sellers - a new digital agency means you should be looking for digital campaigns to launch soon. It's unclear whether this assignment includes the Big Heart Pet Brands' portfolio, but it's certainly worth reaching out to secure revenue there, as well. While this particular agency will handle digital work, don't forget about TV spend, which Smuckers has greatly increased in 2016 (more below).

Media Spend: According to Kantar Media, Smuckers spent $32.7 million on measured media in 2015, most of which was allocated to broadcast ads. For H1 2016, Smuckers spend was $15.7 million, well above the $9.7 million spent during H1 2015.

National TV Spend: 

Sellers, Smuckers has increased TV spend in 2016 by just over 223% from the same period 2015, when only $3.9 million was spent. 

Digital Breakdown: According to Pathmatics, Smuckers has spent $256,000 on desktop ads so far in 2016 (24.5 million impressions). Most of these ads were run in late summer and 91% were placed site direct (the remainder were placed through yieldbot's ad network). Top ad destinations include: easybib.com, today.com, nbcnews.com, accuweather.com and romper.com.

Smuckers has also spent $140,000 on video ads this year (6.7 million impressions) and $41,000 on mobile ads (9.6 million impressions).
