On the Brink: Houston Dynamo names new CMO, marketing VP (Score 65)
has named Katie Sarantakes Scallan its CMO, effective July. Previously a marketing and corporate communications director at The Friedkin Group, Sarantakes Scallan brings additional marketing leadership experience from roles at Gulf States Toyota, RSW and Gleason. At The Friedkin Group, a group of automotive, hospitality, entertainment, golf and adventure companies, Sarantakes Scallan's responsibilities included brand management and development, sponsorships, marketing partnerships, digital and experiential marketing. She replaces incumbent CMO David Brady, who departed in May for a CSO position at Brady Strategic Partnerships.
Sarantakes Scallon joins Rob Hur, the team's partnership sales and marketing VP since August. Recent lower-level hires include those of strategy and analytics director Ian Fleming (June), partnerships marketing manager Kevin Rosselet (July) and digital marketing coordinators Peter Mackin (April) and Bianca Verar (June).
