The JWT, ATL, USVI's advertising AOR since 2001, "Real Nice" includes TV, print and online video ads. Sellers in USVI's top origin markets, traditionally New York, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Texas, should go after campaign revenue in these channels through October. Then, USVI's next ad flight typically begins in March to drive visits for the summer vacation period. 

Travel endemic sellers will likely have an advantage securing revenue, based on USVI's recent display targeting strategy. But, the island destination also runs quite a bit with foodie, entertainment and news sites. last year

Agencies - JWT has media placement and social media RFP out now. It's due Aug. 21. 

Additional Insight

TV Breakdown: USVI's new national TV (see above) ad broke August 2, according to iSpot.tv. Only $1,000 has been spent to run the commercial on Travel Channel "Food Paradise," but it's early still. 

Digital Breakdown: $250,200 has garnered 19.4 million impressions since last August, 77% of which has gone to desktop banner ads, Pathmatics reports. Most of these impressions were bought direct from sites such as Time's foodandwine.com and travelandleisure.com, along with mentalfloss.com, popsugar.com, military.com, orbitz.com, hotels.com and Interactive One's blackamericaweb.com.
