Anomaly

What you should know: Anomaly just landed Diet Coke from another A-Lister, Droga5, and became AOR for jeans brand, Diesel last fall.

McCann

What you should know: McCann became Chick-fil-A’s new AOR after the chicken biscuit QSR split with long-time partner, The Richards Group, last year. In an unconnected piece of business, McCann also won Lysol last summer.

R/GA

What you should know: R/GA have been on solid ground lately; it looks to be keeping its AOR status for McCormick’s & Company’s digital creative and continues to work its creative magic for Beats by Dre.

Droga5

What you should know: MailChimp’s imminent movie-spoofing campaign was created by Droga5, and Blue Apron’s “Better Food, From Scratch” campaign is also their work; and while we just said that D5 lost Diet Coke this month, they picked up Trident Gum (not the expensive missile project) late last summer, so we’ll call it a tie.

VML

What you should know: VML is the new social media voice of HR Block (the pay is good, but the work is taxing) and is now heading up integrated advertising, marketing and PR services to promote Panama to the US and Canada.

BBDO

What you should know: BBDO are having a busy 2017 — launching the new Mountain Dew campaign that, surprisingly, isn’t horrible; and is likely going to be in a battle to retain the business of Toys R Us and Lowes in the near future.

Wieden + Kennedy

What you should know: W+K are the new creatives for Duracell. I’m going to stop with that, even though the temptation is to keep going and going and going and…

The Community

What you should know: After winning over Verizon in 2015, Miami’s The Community picked up General Mills and then Kroger. If you haven’t heard of this sleeper agency yet, it’s only a matter of time before they’re asking “Can you hear me now?” Except they won’t, because that’s lame.

Laundry Service

What you should know: BMW’s new social media agency, Laundry Service also reps T-Mobile (as much as you can do social when John Lagere is your boss), Twitter, GrubHub and a couple of A-B Inbev beers.

Tongal

What you should know: Tongal are creating content for Mattel, including that American Girl Behind the Scenes Amazon special that launched in November. But the agency’s biggest feat was landing former Saatchi + Saatchi lead, Vaughn Emerson last summer to help land new business.
