Will the direct-to-consumer (D2C) market ever be saturated? We can buy luggage, eyeglasses, organic groceries, machine washable rugs, and even retainers without ever stepping foot inside a store. (Writing this I realize I’ve literally purchased all of these things before…). While COVID certainly sped up development, the top 10 D2C brands had already found success, then amplified it during quarantine.

As D2C brands blow up (we even included it as a top emerging industry for 2021 in our annual report), so have their advertising and marketing investments, which increase as revenue increases.
